One of the rising stars of Indian MMA, Punyajit Likharu is a consummate professional. A well-rounded finisher, he joins us at the Liv MMA podcast to discuss his recent trip to the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai. He goes into depth about his training there, the competition and what lies ahead in the world of MMA. Starting at Crosstrain Fight Club, Likharu has gone on to amass a 4-0 record in promotions such as Matrix Fight Night in India and Island Fighters League in Bali. He currently trains out of both Crosstrain Fight Club in Delhi and Soma Fight Club out of Bali.
He has been selected to train at the UFC Performance Institute under the UFC’s developmental program and will be back in action on April 13 at ROAD FC in South Korea where he will be taking on a tough and resilient Wi Jeong-Won.
